Avnet has announced its comprehensive set of end-to-end IoT services to uniquely enable the seamless delivery of innovative solutions to market through each stage of the IoT lifecycle. These latest IoT services will be showcased by Avnet at CES 2018 in Las Vegas on Jan. 9-12, 2018, at Tech East, Westgate, booth 2609.
“Because IoT projects are so different from conventional IT solutions, professional engineers, businesses and startups have struggled to incorporate IoT technology into their business models and ultimately into their products,” said Lou Lutostanski, Avnet’s vice president, Internet of Things. “Avnet has developed a full suite of IoT services to help customers overcome challenges related to design, connectivity, delivery, data analytics, project complexity and other issues. To date, IoT adoption has been slowed by the complexity of the IoT ecosystem, which Avnet has addressed and simplified through these IoT services and our technology partnerships.”
Through these new and enhanced IoT capabilities, Avnet offers end-to-end solutions that guide customers from idea through every stage of their design to deliver connected IoT products into the hands of consumers around the world, delivering on the promise to help businesses reach further.
At CES 2018, Avnet will display a range of services, including:
- IoT Advisory Services – Avnet leverages nearly a century of expertise in the technology sector to assist customers with IoT roadmap strategies, business case development, audit and readiness assessments, and proof-of-value workshops.
- IoT Device Design and Build Services – Avnet helps product developers overcome challenges related to design, manufacturing, technology selection and inventory management.
- IoT Cloud and Digital Services – With a robust suite of services, Avnet provides customers with support on cloud and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, web and mobile app development, connectivity and other digital tools.
- IoT Lifecycle Services – Avnet facilitates the smooth deployment of IoT solutions with services such as field installation and maintenance, device management, firmware and security updates, as well as warranty coverage programs.
To further demonstrate the company’s commitment to lead the future of the IoT revolution, during the company’s presence at CES, Avnet will unveil new strategic partnerships and display its capabilities through demonstrations of IoT smart solutions for industrial, retail and healthcare environments. Following the event, Avnet will launch a series of training sessions to guide customers through their IoT journey - from identifying use cases and ROI to simplifying the complexity of building IoT solutions and scaling them for mass distribution.
The Avnet connected ecosystem, which includes: Avnet.com, Hackster.io, element14 and Hardware Studio, supports more than 2 million customers driving IoT innovation around the world. Avnet is also a member of the IoT M2M Council (IMC), the largest and fastest-growing trade group dedicated to the IoT sector, where Lutostanski represents the company on the IMC Board of Governors.
