Unimicron Posts Record Q318 Revenues

Unimicron Technology's consolidated revenues climbed to a record high of NT$21.39 billion ($687.3 million) in the third quarter of 2018, driven by a seasonal pick-up in shipments of its PCB products, mainly HDI boards, according to Digitimes.
Unimicron posted September revenues of NT$7.23 billion, down by 2.2% sequentially but up by 14.6% from a year ago. Revenues for the third quarter of 2018 represented increases of 23.6% on quarter and 26.2% on year.

The event was the brainchild of Tara Dunn, SMTA director of training and education. It included a compelling and collaborative presentation by David Haboud of Altium, John Johnson of American Standards Circuits, and Chrys Shea of Shea Engineering, who had spent the past several weeks creating and building an appropriate SMT test board vehicle for UHDI, something that was passed around for all conference goers to see and touch.
