In a recent Design007 Survey, we asked the following question: What would help you streamline your design process? Here are just a few of the answers, edited slightly for clarity.
Scott Decker, Collins Aerospace: A process that’s been defined and used. We don’t need no stinking process…YES we do!
Jon Ashton, Vergent Products: Easier DFM rule setup for checks, and easier design rule setup for layout. Manufacturer data sheets should use package details that are orientated correctly.
Jose Moreira, Advantest: We need more experienced resources.
