The 3D sensing boasts features like scanning real time objects, face recognition and background substitution. Google recently launched a prototype of its new smart phone Tango'. This smart phone can create a 3D map of its immediate environment. At the heart of Tango' is a 3d sensor made by Primesense' a 3D sensor manufacturing company which was later acquired by Apple.
